Community Days OutProtecting ourselves online from being scammed is important.
We will have a presentation for our deaf community from a representative from ID Support NSW to share tips on how to protect your personal information, staying safe online and how to protect your identity documents.
During this presentation we will learn:
- What to do if your identity or login details are stolen or used without your permission
- How to reduce the risk of scams and online attacks
- How to recognise a phishing scam (when someone tries to get you to click on a fake link)
- How to turn on security settings on your devices to protect your personal information
When and Where: Wednesday 8 July. Meet at 10am for a 10.30am start.
Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church Hall – 74 Underwood Road, Homebush
